🎄Calling All Christmas Tree Farms!🌲
Christmas is not the same without a Christmas tree, and over the years our lab has been honoured to have met with numerous farms and growers who put hours of tireless work into producing Christmas trees. We want to highlight these experiences, and share your stories with the public who might not know all of the years of work and hours of labour it takes to make a wonderful holiday tree.
Our current calls for features are listed below 🌲

The most magical time of the year is here! Time to invite merry guests to the magic of your farms. Although it's a busy time, we want to highlight your farm and the experience you are hosting to your guests. Whether it's hot apple cider or cocoa, outdoor games, winter wonderland trails, sleigh rides, or the simple wonder of choosing and cutting your own Christmas tree - we would love to share all the joy of the season.
We’d love to feature your farm on our Instagram in this spotlight series. Here's what we need:
A short summary (150-400 words) of what your harvesting season looks like
1 to 5 images that show your trees, your farm, or your merry magic!
Your preferred social media handle (so we can tag you!)
📅 Please send everything to christmastree.lab@uwaterloo.ca by November 12. Let's help people see the farms behind the magic of the holidays.

Behind every beautiful tree is a season of labor that goes unnoticed. From pruning and cone management to the never-ending cycles of watering, mowing, and soil care, this is the season when the trees—and the farmers—truly grow. These efforts deserve recognition, and we want to highlight the passion and stewardship that go into each tree’s journey, starting months before they ever meet an ornament.
We’d love to feature your farm on our Instagram in this spotlight series. Here's what we need:
A short summary (150-400 words) of what your team is working on this season
1 to 5 images that show your trees, your farm, or your process
Your preferred social media handle (so we can tag you!)
📅 Please send everything to christmastree.lab@uwaterloo.ca by June 15. Let's help people see the roots of the holidays.
